Accordent Media Management System V3 Re-Designed Using Microsoft .NET Framework

Industry’s Premier Management Solution for Enterprise Online Communications Provides Exceptional Performance, Capabilities to Enterprise Clients

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., July 10, 2009 – Accordent Technologies announced today that the completely redesigned architecture of its third generation Accordent Media Management System (AMMS) uses the Microsoft .NET Framework to support a host of management, tracking and reporting features designed for performance-based, online communications.

AMMS v3 enables organizations to transform their video and rich media assets into highly interactive, precisely measured online communications that can be used to help improve the performance of personnel, the effectiveness of content, and the quality of the end-user viewing experience.

The new features are made possible via a complete, ground up re-build of the AMMS that uses the Microsoft .NET Framework, Windows Communication Foundation, and the Windows Presentation Foundation for superior scalability, performance, reliability and extensibility. The system’s complete functional re-organization provides substantially expanded capabilities – including more than 50 new content, audience and network reporting features; the ability to support multiple tenants within a single installation, and distribution profiles enabling extensive control over network resources – within a streamlined, intuitive workflow.

“The Microsoft .NET Framework in conjunction with Microsoft Silverlight enables us to take full advantage of our own institutional knowledge in developing Rich Internet Applications (RIA) and we are excited to use Silverlight 3 with its expanded capabilities such as H.264,” said Michael Lorenz, Accordent Chief Technology Officer.

“Microsoft is pleased to work with Accordent Technologies to deliver a great media experience to our customers,” said Brian Goldfarb, director of the Developer Platform Group at Microsoft Corp. “The richness of the .NET Framework offers developers the tools they need to build, test, and deploy highly reliable and scalable solutions.”
