EL SEGUNDO, Calif., November 13, 2008 – Accordent Technologies today announced a technology breakthrough that enables large organizations to leverage multicast-enabled networks to deliver high-quality streaming video with synchronized slides and graphics as a single, compressed stream.

The newly released Accordent Multicast In-stream Technology, already deployed at two Fortune-50 enterprises, substantially reduces the bandwidth and infrastructure required to distribute live, rich media webcasts and allows corporate IT and media services departments using Accordent’s line of rich media creation products – including the Accordent Capture Station™ and Accordent PresenterPRO™ – to provide a very high quality, live rich media experience with almost no impact to their web server architecture.
