Provides Centralized Portal for Integrating, Tracking and Reporting on Audience Interaction with Archived Videoconferences, Flash and Rich Media Presentations

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., November 5, 2007 - Accordent Technologies, Inc. today announced new capabilities in its award-winning Accordent Media Management System that extend the ability of organizations to consolidate disparate multimedia communications assets into a single, unified content management portal. The new developments enable clients to not only integrate archived videoconferences from the TANDBERG Content Server™ and Flash media presentations within the management system framework, but to also to track and report on viewer interaction with the assets over time.

The new capabilities will be unveiled tomorrow at the Streaming Media West exhibition in San Jose, where the Accordent Media Management System also will be recognized by the publishers of Streaming Media Magazine at a reception honoring the magazine's 2007 Readers' Choice Awards.

The Accordent Media Management System uniquely delivers a centralized online infrastructure for searching, publishing and securing multi-level access to presentations created with Accordent rich media creation products (the Accordent Capture Station™, Accordent PresenterPRO™ and Accordent Engage™) and can also ingest, store and track third-party video and audio sources, such as meetings held via videoconference, web conference and audio conference. Accordent clients can import and convert output from major videoconferencing systems and automatically publish the content – organized by its descriptive metadata – into the system where it appears as another asset alongside Accordent rich media presentations.

As an integrated component of the joint solution, the Accordent Media Management System capabilities will enable customers to authenticate and track viewer interaction with the videoconference or Flash archived presentations over time, providing administrators with a record of who has watched each presentation, how long they watched it for and how viewers interact with the material (using polling, testing and Q&A). Clients also can use the system’s online testing with its advanced reporting capabilities for auditable online professional certification and regulatory compliance programs.
